Where you make a difference

To strengthen our Front Office team, we are looking for a committed and passionate Front Office Agent (m/f/d) starting immediately:

  • You ensure excellent service, making sure our guests feel completely at home from the moment they arrive until their departure.
  • You professionally advise our guests, actively sell rooms and suites, and manage the booking system to optimize occupancy and efficiently handle reservations.
  • You provide guests with personalized recommendations and comprehensive support, whether for planning excursions or organizing personal requests, ensuring a truly memorable stay.
  • You independently manage correspondence in both German and English (French is a plus) and ensure professional communication.
  • You oversee the efficient operation of the Front Office and work closely with all departments to guarantee first-class service.
  • In collaboration with your team, you will take on the Night Auditor role in rotation.
  • As a true team player, you actively support your colleagues and contribute to the team's success.

What sets you apart

Your solid hospitality training and extensive experience at the reception desk make you a valuable asset. Your proficiency in various IT systems allows you to work efficiently and confidently. You impress with your poised demeanor, structured approach, and keen eye for quality and detail. With excellent language skills in German and English(French or other languages are a plus), you thrive in an international environment. Your warm and professional approach to guest service, combined with your resilience and enthusiasm for teamwork, makes you an integral part of our Front Office team—one that consistently delights our guests.

Yes, we offer fully furnished studios located close to the workplace. These include Smart TV access and high-speed internet to ensure a comfortable start with us.

How does health insurance work?

Health insurance is legally required in Switzerland. We work with a group health insurance provider and are happy to assist you with all administrative and organizational matters. If you have any questions, we are here to help.

When are the seasonal breaks?

Our employees enjoy two well-deserved breaks per year, including one in May and one in November.

How does the work permit process work?

Our team is available to support you throughout the entire work permit process, ensuring that all formalities are handled smoothly

Is it true that Zermatt is car-free and how do I organize my move?

Yes, Zermatt has been car-free since 1931! Only residents with special permits are allowed to drive directly into Zermatt. If you are arriving by car, you can park in Täsch. We are happy to assist you with our taxi partner in Täsch, who can transport you and your luggage directly to Zermatt (for a fee). On your moving day, you can obtain a permit for Täsch-Zermatt from the local police. Your vehicle must be parked at the entrance of the village while your luggage is transported into the village by electric taxi. THE OMNIA hotel does not have private parking in Zermatt. Weekly stays or relocation? What benefits do I have as a registered resident in Zermatt?

Anyone with official residency in Zermatt or holding a short-term residence permit (Permis L) can obtain the so-called "blue card." This card offers various discounts, for example, on mountain lifts or in clothing stores. Additionally, there is the Zermatt Staff Card, which allows you to benefit from even more offers and discounts.
